Investigating a Long Bump on a Church Roof in New Whiteland, IN

Challenge
We received a call from the Pastor of GracePoint Church in Whiteland, IN reporting seeing what appeared to be a long bump in the roof under the shingles. Inspetor Josh Timm came out to assess the issue.
Solution
Upon his investigation, Josh discovered some bowing of the decking of the roof. He concluded that it was due to lack of out take ventilation, as the church roof durrently didn't have any. The solution to the bowing issues was to install a ridge vent. Once the installation was completed it was reported that the ridge vent did remediate the decking bowing issue.
