Hail Hits to Soft Metals
When checking the roof for hail damage our inspectors make sure to check all soft metals in case they need to be replaced in your insurance claim. This includes any vents, gutters, downspouts, and B vent caps.

You can see in this photo that the hail hit is about the size of the inspector's thumb tip indicating nickel to quarter-sized hail or larger.
