Photo Album: Hail Damage Inspection in Westfield, IN
We were called out to a property located in Westfield, IN. They had suspicions that they may have hail damage, once they saw some of their neighbors having roof replacements done. They saw a North American Contractors sign in their neighbor's yard and had Inspector Josh Timm come to their home to assess any damage. Josh performed a very detailed inspection of the entire property and confirmed the homeowner's hunch of not only hail but wind damage as well. He advocated for the homeowner with their insurance company and was able to prove the following items would need to be replaced. The entire roof, all vinyl siding, all of the gutters, and downspouts. The homeowner was overwhelmed at the amount of damage Josh confirmed, and proved to the insurance company. The homeowner was only responsible for paying their $1,000 deductible. They were so elated with the service from Josh and the restoration crew, that they left a 5 star Google review!

You can see a small piece of siding missing in this photo and other areas where the panels are lifted. A telltale sign of wind damage.
Dents
Dents were found on all of the soft metals on the roof, gutters, and downspouts.
Granule Loss
If you look closely in the gutter run you can see an excessive amount of granules. This type of granule loss is indicative of many hail hits. Those hits result in the loose granules washing down from the roof shingles into the gutters.
